Atlantic pollock has a light and flaky texture, but a fuller flavor compared to cod and haddock. Not to be confused with Alaskan pollock, Atlantic pollock is a larger and oilier fish. Aside from delicious, it is also low in saturated fat and an excellent source of vitamin B12, phosphorus, and selenium.
This Atlantic pollock is chem-free and a smart seafood choice because it is sustainably managed and responsibly harvested under strict U.S. regulations. It is trawl-caught in the Georges Bank by the fishing partners of Pier Fish, located in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
