Dam Good™ English Muffins is a Woman-Owned, family-operated, mission-driven wholesale bakery that has been in business since 2017. They started with a New York State home processing license, and were baking out of their home in Croton. They have since moved their business to Peekskill, NY where they had a stint in a restaurant basement, followed by moving into their new 2,500 sq. ft. production facility.
Their brand name refers to their proximity to The New Croton Dam, where they got their start, their goal to make Dam Good™ tasting English muffins, and to do Dam Good™ in their community, and the world at large.
Through fair hiring practices, community service, and regular food donations, Dam Good™ lives out their commitment to making the world a better place.
Dam Good™ is a proud supporter of the Bakers Against Racism movement and has (and will continue to) participate in all activations. So far, they’ve donated a portion of their online sales to over eleven different organizations that are taking a stand against racism, and the unjust treatment of Black and BIPOC people in America.
Their company slogan, ‘Every One Is Different’ has a double meaning: not only is each English muffin different, but they cherish the diversity among humans - within their workforce, and beyond. Learn more about their noble efforts here!
