Chi Kitchen is a woman-owned, family business founded by Chef & Culinary Educator, Minnie Luong, who was born on a beautiful rice farm in the Mekong Delta of Vietnam. After moving to the United State, Minnie grew up in Massachusetts & Rhode Island with a food obsessed family. Back when Minnie was growing up, there weren’t many Asian ingredients available in their local grocery stores, so her family grew and preserved their own foods, as a joyful way of spending quality time together and connecting with their culture. Over the years, this tradition led Minnie to become a culinary expert specializing in hand-crafted fermented kimchi.
